The power supply for ultrasound and testing machines is very sensitive to power outages, requiring a certain stability of 220VA/50hz within the range of 180VAC-230VAC/50hz, whereas the offline and line-interactive types have a voltage range of only 200VAC-230VAC/50hz. So what about places where the voltage drops as low as 176VAC? Therefore, we can only choose online UPS as the most suitable option.
Although online UPS systems cost more than the other types, they make up for it with more outstanding features such as: stable voltage and frequency, pure sine wave output, a wider input/output voltage range, surge protection, and more importantly, an almost non-existent switching time, whereas the other two types have a delay when a power outage occurs,
If we compare prices, the offline and line-interactive types only come with a 1-year warranty, while the online type comes with a 2-year warranty, or even 3 years. Therefore, in terms of long-term economics, the online type is much more advantageous than the other two types.
