    Selection UPS by power source:
The power requirements of the equipment will determine the amount of backup power needed. A UPS has a capacity at least 25% greater than the total power requirement of the connected equipment is the recommended solution. For example, a desktop computer operating between 180VA and 280VA should be equipped with a 300VA UPS.
Various UPS measured in watts, a good battery can fail before it leaks. However, the UPS marketed using a VA (voltage-amps) rating. But some UPS does not clearly state a power rating on the casing. This is because the VA value is larger and less refined. As a rule of thumb, choose a power consumption equal to half the VA level stated on UPS.

Technical specifications to pay attention to when purchasing UPS:
    1. The type of load used requires UPS power supply
    Example: computers, servers, medical equipment....

    2. What is the customer's current voltage?
Example: single-phase voltage? three-phase? DC? AC?

    3. What is the load capacity of the load or the total power of the loads

    4. Capacity of the battery bank required to supply the load, in units of VA or Watt. (This capacity must be greater than or equal to the total load capacity)

    5. After a power outage, the backup time of the UPS required to supply the load.
Normally, the devices UPS (internal battery) has a full-load backup time of: 5 -10. If you want to increase the backup time, you can ask the supplier to design additional auxiliary batteries.

    6. Current available space?
Space for placing the UPS: for a small UPS it is not much, but for high-capacity UPS units, the installation location, soundproofing, etc. need to be calculated....

    7. Is there a generator?
You need to determine whether it will be combined with a generator. For example: when there is a grid power outage, UPS will supply power to the load devices for a certain period of time. If you combine it with a generator, then after a power outage, UPS will supply power to the devices, while the generator is started to supply power to the devices through UPS. The advantage of this combination is the backup time of UPS not much is needed. And if there is a long power outage, we can still supply power to the equipment normally.

    8. Is backup operation required?
For critical load equipment (for example, medical equipment), do we need backup equipment or not.
